Our Inspirational Journey
My French grandparents would have us every Sunday for lunch and I loved the ceremony of entertaining. The way the table was set, what was on the table in preparation for the specific meal; fish knives, soup bowls as entrees, and more.
Over the years, I have hosted many dinners for work colleagues and friends. I have organized kids birthday parties with a high level of detail, and the greatest satisfaction comes from watching how people not only enjoy but feel special and inspired.
Very often I have received comments like, “Never thought of that” or “So simple yet so impactful . This means more to me than simple decor or table-setting protocol.
This is about how you make people feel, and how a simple gathering can be memorable through the right music, the right food, the right lighting, and people feeling so special that they relax, enjoy and that becomes a memorable experience for all.
In the fast-paced, practical life we live, we tend to miss those little things that make gatherings extraordinary and magical.
